2. Products & Descriptions

We work to ensure our product descriptions, photos, and specifications are accurate; however, shipping containers may vary slightly due to prior use, age, or manufacturing differences. Photos are representative unless stated otherwise. Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to update descriptions, pricing, or stock without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and select online payment methods. Full payment is required prior to delivery or pickup. We may correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by incorrect pricing.

4. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation summarizing your purchase. This does not guarantee acceptance until payment has been verified. We may cancel or decline orders due to stock shortages, incorrect pricing, unsafe delivery locations, or suspected fraudulent activity.

5. Delivery Requirements

We provide delivery across the United States. Customers must ensure that the delivery area is accessible, level, and safe for unloading. Sufficient space for a truck and unloading equipment must be available. If delivery cannot be completed due to accessibility or safety concerns, additional fees for redelivery may apply. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to weather, transport availability, or regional conditions. Risk transfers to the customer once the container is delivered or picked up.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Shipping containers are large, custom-transported items; therefore, all sales are generally final 1 day after delivery.

6.1 Order Cancellation

Orders cancelled before dispatch may be subject to administrative or restocking fees.

6.2 Returns

Returns are only accepted if the container is significantly different from what was described or arrives with structural issues not disclosed at purchase. Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by contacting joan@containersalesonline.com

6.3 Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Delivery and transport fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.

7. Container Condition Definitions

New / One-Trip: Near-new condition with minimal handling marks.
Cargo-Worthy: Suitable for international shipping and structurally sound.
Wind & Water Tight (WWT): No leaks; safe for storage use.
As-Is: Sold in present condition; may have defects; no warranty.

By purchasing, you acknowledge understanding these condition ratings.

8. Modifications & Custom Orders

Custom modifications are non-refundable once fabrication has begun. Any changes requested after production begins may result in additional costs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under U.S. law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, delivery delays, site inaccessibility, or misuse of the container. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price. These Terms do not limit rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Warranty

Used containers are sold without warranty unless otherwise stated. New or one-trip units may include limited manufacturer warranties. Customers are responsible for inspecting containers at delivery.

11. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website or attempt unauthorized access. We may modify site content, features, or policies at any time.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content, including images, descriptions, and branding, is owned by Container Sales Online and may not be reproduced without written permission.

13. Privacy Policy

We handle customer information in accordance with U.S. privacy standards. Personal data is used only for order processing, communication, and service improvements.
